Construction of Sports Facilities in the Municipality of Ioannina
Actionplay, in collaboration with the Technical Company GESOULIS CONSTRUCTION E.E., undertook the implementation of a significant project to upgrade the sports infrastructure in the Municipality of Ioannina, contributing to the upgrade and modernization of the Municipality’s sports infrastructure. Safe and functional sports areas of high standards were created, which meet the needs of athletes and citizens. With consistency, expertise and emphasis on quality, Actionplay continues to implement projects that promote sports and improve the daily lives of local communities.
For the implementation of the project “CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF SPORTS FACILITIES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF IOANNITA” a wide range of works was carried out and completed with the supply of certified sports equipment in accordance with international standards:
1. Construction of a rubber acrylic floor with a total area of 1,850m2, using a rubber prefabricated substrate and the necessary markings, on two tennis courts and one basketball court. The system installed bears the code name ACRYFLEX T SBR PLUS and bears an ITF 1 – Slow certificate, according to the Court Speed Classification Program for the scientific measurement and standardization of speeds on tennis courts.
2. Installation of metal uprights and tennis nets according to the EN 1510 standard.
3. Installation of certified aluminum goalposts (7.32m x 2.44m) according to the EN 748 standard, accompanied by high-strength nets and corner flags.
4. Installation of O.T. (Olympic Type) basketball hoops certified according to EN 1270.
5. Court Equipment: Installation of 6-meter replacement benches with a protective polycarbonate cover.
